I would choose between #2 & #3 based on which color I liked best.

Casper said it best "I opt for what makes me smile".

This is a bit like choosing between three different shades of the same colour. Personally, I agree that #3 sounds like the best bet.

(or a Road King)

True, but we buy first how it looks to ourselves first
others second. Plus they get looked at when standing still,
not at 70.

I like option 3 as well. For me it would be the versatility. I bought a RoadKing after REALLY wanting a StreetGlide. And still love the looks of the SG, but thinking now if I had it to do over again I would look at the EG and EGC. Like was said, remove the pack, lowers etc. and its CLOSE to a SG for looks and its cheaper. Kinda like buying 3 bikes for the price of 1.

to me nothing beats the look of a stripped down e.g. thats been lowered when its done right.I know it defeats the purpose but with being able to add the stuff back for long trips really dose something for me------------------I will never forget the first bagger I saw with a chopped down windshield back in the 70s.I would of gone that way but all my buddies started calling me a old man then

[QUOTE] I know there are slight differences between the EGC and SG, namely the front wheel size, the 1 inch more travel and longer shocks on EGC and it looks like about 40lbs dry weight difference. That is all I could find.[/QUOT

Other differences for SG:

Color matched bag latches

No big ole honking signal light bar

No front or rear gaudy fender trim

White gauges

#3

I used to like the looks of street glides, but then I realized they were just uninspired MOCO copies of what guys were doing to their EGs.
Now I really like the looks of stripped down FLHT,C, and U's with maybe some FLHX parts like the rear fender extension and front fender over the X.
Kinda like mine

Thank you all for the input. Went and checked out #3, made a great deal (I think) with the guy and drove it home. Quick pic below.

Congratulations on a nice looking bike. Have you already planned your upgrade path? What's first on your list? Enjoy.
