I was considering the black chrome, I thing it would be great on the Black Pearl. I called American Revolution, Inc. (USAChrome.com), phone number above and talked to Patrick. They do not offer the 3 year warranty, he said he thinks it will hold up however they do not have that much experience with the lasting power of the black chrome. I decided that I would do regular chrome. Give them a call, they will get back with you and are very helpful.
Here is my take on all this, the wheels will look good, along with all the other parts that I ordered off e-bay form American Revolution, IF I GET THEM. (complete S/G package). Ordered 10/31/07, the only parts I have received are the rotors and bolts for them 01/15/08. Pat was doing good keeping me informed, but the promises of sending out the rest have come and gone along with not returning any of my e-mails or phone calls for the past two weeks. I'm now getting my ducks in a row to go get some answers.

I just had my rims chromed by a local chromer. I'm thrilled with the results - here's a pic.
The name of the shop is California Chrome Wheel, inc. (661) 294-0170
Hey,
CALCHROME did a set of wheels for me for a 32 Ford. Some Halibrands.
And let me tell you. They were the best!
They are experts at packaging and shipping for sure.
They have the only correct way to chrome two peice wheels also.
So theres no copper color comming through.
Great place.
Exit45, I have yet to get my wheels, and have yet lost contact again with USAChrome/American Revolution. \\; He came on the forum over 2 months ago, I believe and said I will get them soon............ ya right! \\; \\; \\; If you sent in S/G wheels and if my chrome wheels do show up, who knows, they could actually be yours. LOL, I know it's not funny, but my humor on this subject all most brings tears to my eyes at how this company can even be in business. \\; All I can say is good luck.
I had mine done at ChromeProsPlating out of Corpus CHristi TX. \\; Great job, ground the nubs off, triple plating, and no pealing after nearly three years. \\; Best of all, $550 for both wheels complete. \\; CCRyder
