Had rear tire put on bout 700 mile ago and found inner ring knocked off by belt tracking bout 1/2 inch to the inside. Can someone tell me what have might of went wrong? There dosen't seem to be any play in sprocket on rear wheel.. and should I take off and welt ring back on or cut it off and get belt to stay center..

Is your valve stem sticking out to the right side of the wheel? If not then the wheel is on backwards, but I don't know if that would make that kind of difference. If the stem is not on the right side, remove the wheel and switch sides for the rotor and sprocket, reinstall and see if the belt is now centered.

Brake rotor and sprocket use different size bolts, not very likely it is on backwards. the axle adjusters would have to be way out whack to make it track that badly.

Have no idea what machine you have, makes the guessing game even more vague. As just a wild guess, there is a chance they put the spacers on the wrong sides (if your machine even has spacers)
