I saw a Rush (the muffler folks) seat that has a slot cut in it, both rider and passenger. Cycle Pedic I think is the name. It is supposed to ease the pressure on the tail bone. I really like the looks of it. It has memory foam and other stuff. The seams are waterproof. Now for the down side, it is only for 2008 and up touring bikes. My RK is a 2006, that sucks canal water.
