I have a 2007 FLHTCU. Over the past month my bike initially started to idle really high so I did the turn on off 5 times to reset it. I have done that twice. It fixed the issue for a week or so each time. Now when I pull up to a stop light and push the clutch in it sometimes cuts off. My check engine light sometimes comes on after start up, not initially, about 5 seconds after crank up then goes off 5 seconds or so later. This is getting on my nerves. Any ideas? I hope it's not the ECM.
Update, I called me local dealer today and they didn't have the IAC motor or TP sensor but the price if I order it are reasonable. I did ask the service rep on the phone what it sounded like to him and he stated it was a cylinder head temp sensor or another MAF sensor. He also stated it could not be the IAC. Well I went ahead and cleaned the IAC today according to the book of a thread iclick has going on. I guess I should have done a search before I posted this. I'll ride it to work in the morning and see how it does.
Dawg, what do you think about his over the phone diagnosis? He also said my bike will never run real good since I have a screaming eagle intake, K&N air filter, and Rush Slip-Ons. Said I just need to break down and get a SEST.

Thanks for the info Dawg and soft02.
He is on crack. Many people have had the high idle caused by the Idle Air Controller gummed up with crap and a bad TPS will not tell the ECU the correct data and will cause the same issue. Dawg is well versed and will give accurate info. A head temp sensor might cause the same issue but I have no exp bad one's. With a good tune it should run fine with those components.
Sounds like he's trying to upsale a tuner and nothing more. Did you pull the codes yet? That may lead you in the right direction, or could be nothing more than a lean code on an 02 sensor.
