Hey,
Anyone have the windsplitter windshield installed on there bikes? I am looking into getting one and am not 100% sold on it yet. I have the stock street glide windshield on right now. Thoughts??
I put the 4 inch on my SG.
I really like the way it looks, however I don't feel any drastic difference from the stock windshield.
You can demo one at your local Harley shop and see what you think.
I'm thinking about trying out a 7 inch windsplitter.
If my head wouldn't get bounced around like a balloon in a hurricane I would keep my stock windshield on.......however, that won't happen, so I have a 6.5" Klock Werks on the SG now. I tested the KW and the Wind Splitter and the KW won out. I'm considering a Long Ride Shield now.
My pal has the 7" Windsplitter on his Street Glide - he likes it. We went on a 4,000 mile road trip and he still likes it. Me, I went with the 10" Windsplitter when I had my Electa Glide Classic (and I went on that same 4,000 mile trip with it). Performed extremely well.
