07 Rk 46,600 miles never on a tender but ridden pretty steady.Went to get ready for a ride and just not enough juice to start.Since I live on a hill and everyone was waiting to ride I rolled it off and it started right away.Rode the day with it about 250 miles and of course everything was fine..But time to start looking for a battery..
Buy a battery from Harley and pay too much, but if it craps out under warranty the shops are all around to honor warranty..On the other hand order online and take my chances at 1/2 the price.Chances are if the battery works for 30 days you probably wont have any trouble any how.. anyone have a Deka part # and a link ?
Have to say I'm real pleased with the Big Crank from BatteryMart. Price was good, they shipped very fast with stock like fittman. I think with everything, it was still under a hundred bucks.
Another vote for Battery Mart.
My orginal battery lasted only 2 yrs with a battery tender on it.
Iam 2 yrs now on my replacement (Big Crank) from Battery Mart
