Removed my passenger back rest found three bare spots on the tour pack lid where the paint had rubbed off. Understandable from vibration and my wife moving around. However I took it to the dealer and asked if this was normal? Was told yep and won't fix under warranty because it's hidden, "They all do it" so my thought is this if "they all do it" why is there not a protective coating or clear Chaffee tape placed on the contact points? Yeah it will never be seen with the back rest mounted but that's beside the point. I got them to agree to fix it, and put a clear over lay on afterwards.
