Unhappy help question

i have a 2007 dresser i have a weard sound coming from the air box when i give it gas it sounds like an air comp and in the front cyclinder thair is rocker noise that comes and goes the sound changes with temp i do have some mods done stage 1, s&s lifters cams adj push rods thanks dave..

I'm not exactly sure what all you are saying there, but sometimes with some air cleaners you can hear air going through it and other engine noises coming from it. With a stage 1 you have turned it into an open port and you are sitting right on top of it so you will hear things you didn't with the stock.

Dave if you listen carefully you can here many normal things. The sucking of air into the air cleaner, the counter balancers swishing, the buzz of the injectors, the valves slapping closed under acceleration, the ticking of the rocker arms. All these things are normal. Now if you here a new and different noise try to pay attention under what condition it occurs, with road speed, clutch pulled in, acceleration, deceleration. Try to listen for the different things going on. Remember you are sitting on and engine. You might have a pushrod thats a tad out of adjustment or coming loose.
