It's not going to do you any good to set the clock. Every time you go to work on it you have to remove the 40 amp fuse so it doesn't blow up. That must be the reason because the service manual says it constantly. After that the clock will have to be reset. But at least you will be proficient at clock setting.

not that far back. i think it only goes back to 06, anything older and they give you a link to purchase the manuals.

Take it to the stealership and have those *** clowns do it. Then, have them show you how to do it, and write it down!

i will do everything i can to stay away from the stealership until i absolutely have no options

This is what you need to do to set the clock. Mine gains time so have to do this often.
