I get about 2months of service out a can of orange pledge with the same results for about $3 a can.......old detailers secret no longer a secret........use what you want bro, but lots of testimonials on a tried and true product.

Nah. I use it a lot as a detailer and yes it looks great in between, but the swirl remover and DA did a better job.
I'll give you my address if you do road-trip detailing... Great job man!!

Looks great. I might have to look into a DA, I have been working on the Cadillac by hand - first with a buffing compound then a cleaner wax. Got the hood done last week, started on the trunk this week. Figure I will be done by spring and ready to take on the Karate Kid
Looks GREAT, Piston! Nothing looks better than (clean) black & chrome. Every street bike I have ever owned has been black. I swore my 07 FLHT would be my last black bike because I'm too F-ing old, fat & lazy to keep it clean! Got me a new RG, of course BLACK! LOL! This one is for sure my last black bike!!
No you cannot burn paint with a Dual Action polisher (that is why they were designed) Also, they don't remove deep scratches and imperfections because they are so safe. You can only burn paint with a circular/rotary wheel polisher which generates heat at the pad's edge.
I have a Porter Cable 7424 D/A polisher I had a Lake County orange pad on, using Menzerna Intensive Polish. The was an imperfection on the paint, so I kept it in one spot constantly moving for between 5 and 10 seconds and I put a burn in my clear coat the size of a silver dollar. Trust me....I can happen. I JUST picked up my car from the body shop this morning.

Wow. I will pay closer attention. I have the same DA and pads. I bought it because most people told me it would be hard to burn the clear coat.
