An explanation for HK radio problems? (long)

It's old news but if you aren't here everyday it is easy to miss things. Dawg posted it back in 2010

But it is good to bring these things up again for those who missed them.
I stopped in my dealer showed my parts guy the bulletin and he handed me the two bolts.
I put them in while my radio was out to Iron Cross getting a rear aux put in. And there were marks on the radio where it had been hitting very slightly.

Ya but........
everybody with newer bikes has broken speaker supports , broken fairing brackets and radio issues, why isnt hd recalling these problems? everyone who has an issue should report it to hd. not just repair it on your own. some dont know their brackets are broken until they have a reason to remove fairing.
