Hi everyone, I'm just about to take delivery of a new '07 Street Glide and after the first 100 mile's, it's on the lift in my garage for a pretty major make-over. The build will include a color matched inner fairing (vivid black) andI was wondering if I'm stuck with these cheesy black plastic mirror's.Has anyone addressed these thing's? I've taken a look at the after market and I havn't foundanything. Thank's in advance,Putt

I guess your talking about the fairing mount mirrors that come stock on the Street glides.
A lot of people like them because they don't stick out like the handle bar mounted ones and they blend in more with the fairing.
I suppose you could remove them and get the handle bar mount set up. The only other choices I can think of would be painting them or get something custom made.
I don't know of any aftermarket replacements for them.

If your changing to a paint matched inner fairing, then replace them with handlebar mounted ones that you can customize all you want to. Not much else out there you can do.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thank's guy's, your right, there is nothing available to replace these. I sure don't want to go to a handlebar mounted mirror. I guess I'll just have my painter shoot them Gloss Black at the time he's laying the flames on everything else, thx, Putt

If you're having painting done you might want to consider just having them shoot the inner fairing pieces as well vs. going with the factory color matched ones. Several guys here have just painted theirs with some good results. Since it's black you'll of course have less problems with color matching.

I love those cheesy black mirrors. They work great and blend in with the bike...

This is the only other fairing mount mirrors that I found. I don't like the shape or look as much as the stockers but just in case your interested, here you go:

Thank's, I saw those also, there made by Arlen Ness. If I'm not mistaken, if you go that route, you'll have mounting hole's to patch in the inner fairing where the stock mirror's mount. Thank's again, Putt
