Hello to my friends, I have a Road king custom with a HD auxilary light kit in front, any opinions on the Memphis shade BATWING FAIRING? Pleas alittle input goodd and bad. I want to get a windshield, should I go standard or BATWING?

I have one. I don't use it much.

I had to modify the bracket. There isn't enough adjustment to eliminate a large gap at the top of the headlight. Once I got rid of the gap I think it looks good from the front.

There is no inner available for this fairing, I think it looks unfinished from the back side. However it is light, not much heavier than the stock shield.

It's smaller in overall size than all the others I've seen. The air flows over the top of the hand guard area and blows directly up the sleeves of a short sleeve shirt, causing a lot of billowing. If I don't tuck, I end up with most of my shirt in my armpits.

I had to play around with the angle a lot to find a spot where I didn't get a high frequency buffeting, that made it hard to see at highway speed. I recently put a Long Ride Shield replacement on, and that helped a lot.

The black finish was good and I didn't have to have it painted.

The quick release mount is nice, only takes seconds to put on and remove.
