ok so I went from a V&H Power Duals with Rinehart Slip-ons to the Dragula 2 into 1 exhaust.
here is my setup
2009 Road King
S&S 106 Cylinder Kit
TMan 625 Cam
TMan Stage 2 Head Work
Throttle Body bored to 54mm by HPI
Arlen Ness Big Sucker
Dragulas 2 into 1 2.55 baffle
TTS Mastertune Professional Tuned
my dyno numbers with the V&H and Rinehart slip-ons
112 HP
120 TQ
and with the new Dragula's 2 into 1
110 HP
107 TQ
in addition my power curve moved to the right with the new setup 5000-5500rpm as opposed to before around 3500-4000rpm
I thought that the 2 into 1 will give me a bit more (not much, but at least equal) and drop the time the power curve down a bit
also I don't know if they tuned the bike or not, I dropped it off yesterday and was suppose to pick it up in the afternoon, when I called to see if it was ready they told me thy needed the bike until today at noon, when I showed up at noon to pick it up they told me at 2, it wasnt until almost 3 that I was given the dyno sheet, I don't feel good about this one.
Good thing they did not charge me a single penny, I still think the bike wasn't tuned
Should I have it re-tuned? or the drop in tq is acceptable?
something is wrong , with a 2-1 the torque should hit sooner and the numbers worst case should be similar or they may have given you a happy tune the first time , how does it ride ?????/
it runs good, I could tell that I was missing something, (aggressive riding style) I'm just not feeling it. but it rides well enough for this weekend run.
if it doesn't run better then before they either didn't tune it , or did a poor tune , a 2-1 pipe the numbers don't always increase but your torque hits sooner so your curve should be better
Is this on the same dyno? Dont get too caught up in the numbers game. Does it feel like the power is down from where it was before the new exhaust? BTW, the Pro Pipe doesn't even compare to the Dragula. The Dragula will out perform the pro pipe hands down. If you want to drive to Oklahoma, I'd be happy to tune it for you.
