I have no idea with other systems. But with the FCS I have noticed NO discomfort from fans blowing. For me its just the opposite it makes it more comfortable much less heat sitting on bike in traffic.
That's good to hear. I have a new one in box for about a month. Was going to put it on with a 120r I also had but economy change dictated otherwise.
We all know except for one HD does not have oil cooled heads. How ever when sitting in traffic on a 90+ day the oil cooler is of little good. A bit of cooling on the oil can only help .
This system seems to work had it on my 2011 RGU for 3K before I totaled the bike it is going on my 2013 when it gets here. One of the few parts that were salvageable. Simple system ,easy to install.
You will never know it is there. http://bigskyfan.tripod.com/id10.html

I had one on my 02 EGC,had it wired so I could turn it on with a spare switch that was on the fairing.(Could use the toggle switch if it's a Road King)Why wait till the thermostat switch kicks in as your stuck in traffic?
