2013 Roadglide
The new frame headers are a good setup as it. The CAT's are in the header pipe just behind the 02 sensors, Not hard to remove if you chose to down the road.
There is no real reason for aftermarket headers.
Tuner just depends on how far you plan on going with the bike. If your just going good stage 1 almost any of them will do.
The RG custom short wind shield in my book is worthless to short you may want to Demo something a bit more realistic at the dealer.
Some riders find the engine guard mount air deflectors a plus some do not.
PN 57000063.
RGC seat is ok for one up but may not be the best two depends on passengers size.
All RG's have a bit of any issue over time with the rubber strip between fairing inter and outer and wind shield molding. A cheap rubber molding from any parts store is a great fix.
Some riders find they need mirror extension.
Weather the RGC or the RGU they are great touring bikes that are fun to ride.
The RGC has 1 inch lower shocks than the RGU.
Many are happy with the bars ,however some find they want a bar that is just a bit higher. But things like seat and bars are very personal hard to make that call for anyone else. If you chose to add tour pack with detachable mount to the RGC it is easy to do.
The ABS IMO is worth while and mine has work Flawlessly.
Owned my share of HD's and put a lot of miles on them . The RG and RGU are
are the only touring bike I will look at any more .
Waiting on my 2013 RGU in RED to be delivered and I should be able to ride it by first or second week of October.
I believe the frame mount faring saved my tail August 30th. When I hit a deer at 60mph dead on it put most of the force to the frame instead of all of it on the front end.
Demo one It will grow on you fast.
OP - I have V&H headers and V&H High Outputs on my 2012, along with the V&H fuel pack. It's the perfect combo......FOR ME. I do think that smitty901 is right though, the stock headers are fine once you remove the cat. That baby runs HOT. Remove that, and it's likely as good as what I have. I in fact would have done that, but on the way to Sturgis this summer, with the cat giving me second degree burns on the back of my right thing after two days of riding through the desert, I was looking for immediate relief when I got to Sturgis. I would have otherwise done a cat removal and saved a few bucks.
Good luck with your decision.
I was just learning how a 2:1 pipes gives more low end torque and with these heavy bikes it is good to have that extra punch in the take off and lower end so I was thinking of going with a 2 into 1 this time around to check it out.
Anyway I have been over at baggers.com and they have some great venders with exhaust, Dragos is pretty well liked and I hear lots of good things.

I purchased my BBP FLTRX about a month ago. I have V&H Monster Ovals, Power Duals, and Fuel Pack on mine. I am very satisfied with performace and sound. But I like the V&H sound over other options. Best of luck.
