I had a 2005 Road King Custom which had the same front fender as a street glide. I added a front fender tip from a heritage springer and the road king classic fender skirt for the bottom of the front fender. On the rear fenderI put a softail deluxe rear fender tip. I thought it looked great but thats just an opinion.
By the way, there is NO WAY I would add bling to a SG fender -SG's are the best looking dresser HD has ever produced because they finally left off all the ugly bling that people have been removing for years........
Looking at my SG, the front fender seems naked --- I would like to add some bling, looking for suggestions.
I'm slowing turning it into a SG-EGC; I'm cool with that.
thanks,
Lyn
Should have just bought that Classic huh?
I am still trying to figure out why so many pay MORE money for the Street Glide only to convert it to an ElectraGlide????? Perhaps it would be a better buy to buy an ElectraGlide an convert it to StreetGlide ??? lol[8D]hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm[&:]
if I could do it all over again I would get the Ultra, but when I saw the SG on the floor I had to have it---still love it.
I haveto work with what I got that's the good thing about having a HD; I can personalize it how I want (don't think it would be wise to trade an 07 SG for 07 Ultra or EGC)---I'll leave the fender alone for now.
Got caught in the rain last night coming fromLilburn, GA going to Stockbridge, GA --- bike is filthy---time to clean it.
I appreciate all the feedback. This forum is priceless.I'm still trying to post a picture not just a link.
