I keep a spreadsheet for the bikes I have had since I "bought" into Harley about three years ago when I spent $2K on a 1982 FLT that was in pretty good condition. I would need 3.5 times that much to break even on that bike.
My current bike - well as an 06, it needed a little power help but I have not gone overboard - in my book. However, the wife keeps using the word k-ching around me when I mention - "it would be nice...."

2008 Electra Glide Standard bought used and from the dealership it already had

Radio
Hidden Antenna
Rush Pipes
4" smoked windshield

I added
Fuel Moto Air Cleaner upgrade
PCV
Klock Werks 6.5 windshield
Crash bar
Highway pegs
Driver and Passenger back rest

After a 2k mile trip here is what I am going to change/add over the winter
Avon Grips
Have the seat modded
Lower rear shocks
and maybe trade for a chromed primary cover

06 RKC, way too much to list from both HD and Kuryaken. Big ticket items were 95 inch stage II, SE exhaust, SE six speed gear set, hydraulic clutch, tour pak, and oh yeah, $2500 for 10 spoke wheels.....lots and lots of chrome and goodies...pushing close to $20K over out the door new....but have loved every bit of the past six years of customizing...

Truck-Lite L.E.D headlight and running light, Alloy Art stabilizer, KlockWerks 8.5 windshield, rider footboards, handgrips (Avon), dash chrome, Dunlop WWW tires, head work, Big Bore kit, Woods 5G cams, replaced inner & outer cam bearings, Fuelmoto adjustable pushrods, Woods directional lifters, Fueling oil pump, Compression releases cut into heads, L.E.D. tailight, run stop turn cables for both bike and tourpack, L.E.D. lights on trunk, Kuryaken adjustable highway pegs, custom pinstriping on fairing. And that's all i can remember. Had already replaced stock cam tensioners with S&S 510G cams before doing the BB and Woods cams. Also forgot Mustang seat and tour pack pad, 2 saddlebag coolers and suspension pump, LeNale cooling fan, Cobra FI200R Auto Tune, PCIII (on shelf just in case) Rhineheart True Duels, Cobra 4" mufflers, K&P Engineering oil filter,Stage 1 Big Sucker, Joker Machine air cleaner cover-derby cover-inspection cover-point cover.
