ya know i really like that. (sorry SG DAVE) now that ive seen the 10s i really like the way they sit in comparison to the fairing. you wouldnt happen to have a pic of the bike head on to see how that looks would ya??
kinda wish more guys did bars around by me so i could actually (maybe) sit behind them for a minute......BUUUUUUUUT then on the other hand when i get them ILL be the only one with them....HA
thanks guys for posting up the pics.
Bars look great. Hey booxh laughed about your saying. No one cares about your stick figure family. Those things drive me nuts. And of course Harley just came out with one. Back to the ars I just ordered 12'.
Looking at yaffe's myself...was wondering if I went w/ 12s, would I need cable extensions or would stock be enough?
Lot's of great looking bikes here. Different tastes are what makes the world go round. If you can sit on some bikes with taller bars definitely do that.
To answer this question. With 12s you must use a longer clutch cable and brake line. +6 will do it. The upper brake line is typically in two pieces from most companies so make sure you check and get both if that's what they do. You can bleed the brake line as long as you do it one section at a time. If you get air in the ABS module (if you have ABS) you will need to take it to a dealer to bleed the brakes on the digital tech. You don't have to extend wiring but you will have to move the plugs in the fairing under the radio if you go that route. Highly recommend getting the SE TBW. It moves the plug out of the bars and makes it much easier to pull wires. With 14s or more you must do cables and extend wiring.

will need to extend your wiring... some have been able to re-route clutch/brake cables but they are tight... I went ahead and replaced all the cables.. just for peace of mind.

bike head...
I was the first 10" PYO French customer (special order and thanks to Dr VTwin) and maybe still the only one riding it here.
I just put 12" on mine. I love them. Re routed the brake like. Had to add wire extensions and new clutch cable. Tried to re route clutch cable but could not get enough out of it. Plus with the 12's I can still use the fairing mirrors.
