My '09 would bang/top out all the time. Went to racetech springs and Ricor intiminators with Fabrik8r mod.

clunking front end

The chances are that the neck bearings are too loose. It's considered an adjustment and is not covered under warrenty. Get the service book and adjust them.

Mine did some clunking on rough roads I put in progressive monotubes big improvement.

THere's a lot of crap on the front end of those bikes.

I have a 2013 with less than 1100 miles on it and I think I have a rattle somewhere inside the upper fairing.

Loud pipes and a radio can make strange noises disappear!
