I don't like the look of 2 into 1 on dressers. It just looks unbalanced. They are supposed to be a good set up for power but just can't get past the look.
Looks good on the theStreet Glideand Road Glide, because of the stripped down custom style.
If I see a bagger with a 2:1 , I know what the rider is thinking " Performance "
I ran a Fat Cat on my Deuce. I bolted on five additional hp when I installed it. I plan on putting one on my FLHX, too. It does sound a little different, but not bad. And, the one on the Deuce wasn't loud unless you twisted the throttle. (I'm wondering what a black FC would look like on black pearl?)
Just installed my V & H Pro Pipe tonight on my 2007 Street Glide. The sound is just what I was looking for with the deep throaty tone. The throttle response is great because it's like the rear end wants to sit down and just keep pulling.
I have RH 2-into-1 on mine and I feel the added performance and unique "growling" sound far out-weight any loss of asthetic "balance".
Also with no pipe on the left side it shows off more of my 18" PM rear wheel!
I also removed my belt guard all together,I feel it looks much cleaner.
