Does anyone know the part # if harley even has one for the 35 or 36mm tool that loosens up the nut on top of the forks?
I've looked online. Can't find it. Need to swap out the forks on my 2010 street glide.
On batwing bikes a socket will not work because there just isn't enough room to get a ratchet or other drive mechanism in there. If the socket had a hex on the outside, similar to a spark plug socket, that you could turn with another wrench, it would probably work.
Simplest solution... Get a 12 point 1 3/8" box end wrench. You can do it with a open end or adjustable, but it's tougher because you don't have much swing room.
