6 piston caliper

Can I use a 6 piston caliper with stock 11.8" rotor or will that caliper only work with a 13" rotor?

It would work... after a fashion. Only a partial area of your brake pad will contact the rotor... go with the 13" rotor and be able to brake like you should.

Different calipers are designed for different size rotors. A caliper that is designed for a 13" rotor will not work well with a stock 11.8" rotor. Just get a 6 piston for the stock size rotor. HHI, PM, and a few others make them.

I will upgrade to a 13" rotor when I purchase new wheels. Dont know when that will be. I was seeing if I could buy a 6 piston now and use it on stock and 13" rotor. Guess y'all answered my question. Thanks.
