Sending my EGC seat off tomorrow to Allen at Mean City Cycles for a comfort mod. I've read good things about his work here so am anxious to feel it for myself!
Its cool to see someone excited about sending their seat to me to be modded. I started Mean City 3 years ago this coming March. I have gone from the basic reshaping to adding memory foam to the seat, to doing studding of stock seats and starting this week will be offering replacement and custom covers. Its been a fun ride so far and the future looks pretty bright with intrest growing every day and after 21 years ofupholstering for the big companies its allotmore fun doing it this way. Thanks for the support guys. Thanks, Allen

I got mine back Saturday.......It's great. No more switching seats.
How did you send yours? I just mailed mine off via UPS and was surprised when it was over twice the cost that Allen had me include for return shipping via FedEx. I had wanted to ship 3 day for faster turn around but that would have been something like $150! Yikes.......

I went to a local shipping place. He boxed it up and sent it DHL. It did cost me a little more ($30) but I didn't have a box and couldn't find a box to fit it. He actually took two boxes and taped them together. Why didn't I think of that? I think USPS would be cheaper. I was about to spend $400 or whatever on a new seat so the $30 was not a big deal.
