Im fixing to buy a 07 or older ultra, is there any year models I should stay away from and how many miles is concedered to many? Thanks Dan

07-08 had several issues. Heat and head porosity to name a couple. 06 wasn't a bad year, injector issues, lighter cranks than previous years. 04-05 had some valve seal problems and primary leaks. 02 was last year for timken bearings. Any of these would of course make a new addition to your garage as long as you know the pros/cons. Miles? Seen plenty of 50k+ bikes that were like new. It's all about how they have been maintained. I would be more Leary of a 2004 for example with 5000 miles than one with 30,000 miles. Typical low mileage is about 5-7k per year on a touring bike.
