Great idea. But might I add some extra protection that I added to the detatchable shield for my Deuce. Went to the yardgoods store and picked out some thick soft material. Got out the Mrs sewing machine and sewed up a pouch to put my shield in. Saves any chance of something contcting and putting a scratch on it. I actually put two gromets on mine and can hang it on two screws if I want.

Not a bad idea! My garage is pretty sedate though...the only thing contacting my windshields while stored are my hands and maybe an errant mosquito!
Another suggestion for your helmets when you get the shelf. Put them in the helmet bag they came with, and/or check them regularly. Had a bird build a nest in one of my modulars and it was a pain to get all the twig bits out of the liner. During nest building season, they can be quite persistent. Nice Idea.
I'm glad people are getting some use out of this! I can hang 2 windshields, a dock able regular back rest, 5 helmets, various gloves and glasses/goggles...
Your only limited by how high you want to go for the shelving part of it.
