There are 2 torque's screws on the bottom of ea. muffler. Remove those & pull them off. Some require some twisting & turning, I have also heard of some starting the bike & letting the back pressure help them. Sound clip pending.

Mine are quite loud. (church members have mentioned it) But i also have the Jackpot 2-1-2 headers and the cat removed. I can listen to my music but the wife says the music is just noise now. When I pull into the alley when the Bell Choir is practicing they say they have to stop until I turn the bike off. Personally, they have the sound and the volume I wanted so I love them

They will get a bit louder. Mine is louder after warming up. They have a great tone. Think of them as flowmasters on a Harley.
