It sounds as if you have two plans. The difference in cost of the two plans is $7,500-8,000. I think if it's a low milage CVO that you like the color combo of, get the CVO. The 2010 CVO will need to be decatted if you can get away with it.

If you like your current bike and.have put a lot of cash into ot already, I would keep it. Save your cash for more gas and tires.

I'm just as good at spending other people's money as I am my own! My would be to go for the CVO if you like it and it's what you really want. Then do the performance upgrades when you can swing them. That's my plan anyway. But nobody ever accused me of being overly smart either!

On the other hand. If all you are looking for is a bump in performance. Do it with what you already have. There. Now you know exactly what you need to do!

With the $7k+ you'll have after the motor work over the cvo Ya could really make your bike your own. If ya want resale, cover it in the garage until ya sell it. Ride the bike ya want!

Yeah, I agree 100%

If it were me and I had that decision to make, I'd do
the motor upgrade and with the coin left over I'd have a
decent paint job done.

If you haven't done much in mods to yours get the cvo, and when when you want more power up that motor. But if you have done heavy mods to suit you like I have then do the motor which is what I am doing now to my 02 cvo

IFC could afford it I would go CVO...and then modify when that gets boring. The up side to the whole dilemma s that there is no right or wrong. Good luck
