Have the wheel, fender, and bags all fitting right. Got my S&S fuel injection installed. I'm still camless. Going to call Headquarters and order a set. Been busy trying to make some money, also having a second bike makes it less urgent
Well, I've put 500 miles on my Road Glide. Took me longer then I planned. Having another bike slowed me down.
Bike runs pretty good, handles sweet.
I have few things to fine tune. A few front end parts to install, Progressive Monotubes, and some 12" apes.
You've done wonders with your bike, well done. Your middle picture is fascinating. Is that just the way the light has caught your bike (lines on saddlebag, for example), or have you been clever with the paint?!

Thanks Graham, the picture is a fluke. The effects in the picture give me some ideas for a paint job when I can afford it.
How is your Deuce wheel project coming along?

How is your Deuce wheel project coming along?
It's in, by the skin of its teeth! I will have to go back to the drawing board however, as it is a real pain to install and remove. The Deuce wheel is hollow and I have to use blanking shims behind both pulley and rotor, to keep water out. But I also have to remove them both to shoe-horn the wheel in, which means juggling a lot of hardware. I will have to find a wheel the same size that doesn't need those darned shims! There is other stuff I am messing with at present, so will leave that for now. It may be a while yet before I am happy it is a workable wheel.
Check out the other wheels HD or the aftermarket offers. I picked up this 10 spoke Revolver wheel for my Dyna. I had a similar problem after installing a !7' wheel on my Dyna. I have to take the caliper apart and remove the rotor to put on the wheel
Have you looked into using a two piece Brembo HD caliper? Also try using RTV (silicone) to glue the covers to the wheel. Two less parts to line up.
Dan, being in the UK I have access to very little over here. My Deuce wheel came from the USA courtesy Ebay, as have a lot of other things I have used. Cost more to ship it that to buy it! I keep looking for a 2-piece calliper, but no luck so far. I'll try the RTV trick, so thanks for that. I have another opportunity to remove and refit the wheel coming up soon! A Revolver wheel would almost match my ole 1990 front wheel.....
