2005 RK Custom, then a 2007 E/glide, liked 'em both, now a 2011 Heritage, by far my favorite ride, cooler, lighter, easier to push around, easier to ride and more unique. I like it better every time I ride it. Never looked back.

Wow, most go the other direction..
I went from a softail to an SG.
Better gig for me, as I am approaching the geezer state.

Best pipe for them softails is a 2-1 BTW.

Got one of each - very different bikes. While I wouldn't call the Fatboy light it certainly is lighter than a touring bike.
