I run the Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 cartridge forks. They are NOT a "damper rod upgrade"... they are a complete replacement of the entire inner workings of the forks, on both sides, with a modern cartridge fork assembly. The difference in handling is nothing short of amazing, with no diving in corners and very steady handling.
The TD AK-20s make the forks perform like they should perform... not like a tractor front end.
The Progressive are a less expensive alternative that I have read perform almost as well as the AK-20s - but I have no experience with them.

Traxxion Dynamics sells both the AK20 and a damper rod upgrade.
After some research and talking to Dave at TD, I think the Race Tech emulators and Fab's damper rod modifications will suffice until I can save the funds for the AK20's.

Reason: to delete the reference to fabrik8er's mod.
Traxxion Dynamics sells both the AK20 and a damper rod upgrade. The damper rod upgrade appears to be similar to fabrik8er's mods poster on this forum.

Just for clarification, my mod is for the Ricor Intiminators, nothing is done to the damper rod, and I have no experience with RT Emulators. If you think you are interested, PM me. Once you get get these set up and feel 'em out, there is a good chance you won't want to upgrade to cartridges.
