I have one of these on my bike and it is the best mount out there for an ipod/iphone. Sure it is expensive but it is made in the USA and it is a great quality product.
I have a 2012 SG and when I bought the riders claw, I was thinking of upgrading all my grips, etc. to chrome so I went with a chrome riders claw, since then I have changed my mind and I am sticking with black - needless to say, I wish that I would have bought a black riders claw. No biggy, 1 item that is chrome, still looks good.
Yes I agree with Jeepin79 with the Michael's stainless stuff... it is very good i have it for my Iphone and i just love it... do not hesitate to go on his web site or on Ebay... you can choose the side you want it to be mount ...
Wife is using the X mount attachment from RAM on her '13 Street Glide to hold Razr Maxx. It's adjustable for many sizes and uses the existing RAM handlebar hardware.
Anybody figured out how to mount an ipod 7th gen on their bike? Ram mounts are too big and the aux out plugs in at the bottom so that is not an option. Riders claw is $94 bucks...which is outrageous. I already have the Ram mount system on my FLHX, just needing a new cradle for the ipod to sit in. Not having any luck. Any ideas?
