Last tire change I went with Pirelli Night Dragon Radials. Never looked back! Street glide with trunk. Loaded most of the time. I travel in all conditions. Have about 7k on these with good tread left. Handle great. Whatever you do buy, get away from the bias ply!
Enjoy!
John
Of the tires mentioned, which ones come in radials?
Dunlop American elite for me. 30k front 20k rear and American Made. Great pricing at Dennis Kirk and Jake Wilson. My buddies running the me880s are replacing every 10k, no thanks!

Pirellis, but none of the others that I am aware of. There is nothing wrong with bias tyres, it is just a matter of choice. I have one of each on my bike, to cover all bases!

When I need replacement tires, it will be the Dunlops. They are not only well designed tires, but I am at the front of the line in support of the only American company that designs, tests, and builds aftermarket tires for Harley- Davidson motorcycles. And did I mention that they are really good tires?

That's not the case any more, as my Sporty came on Harley Michelins! And Avon are owned by Cooper tyres, so there are options!
I put over 15,000 miles on each of the last 3 sets of ME 880's. Metzeler is a great tire. Not sure of the exact model but the Dunlops on my '08 Street Glide are crap! Will be upgrading to the Metzeler's soon!
