thanke mike
It can be a PITA but once you get the timing down, it's simple. Don't move the bike at all and stand beside when you do it. I found it easier to perform the sequence standing on the right side of the bike. You have to do the sequence pretty fast
Try turning the ignition switch from off to ignition 3 times while leaving it on immediately press the left turn signal 3 times then press the right on 1 time and it should display the current security code
rbowers
tried that and all i get is the flashers flashin three times then 1 time, guess ill have to go to the stealer to see if they can get it for me,, mabe they will do it for free
Then click your ruby slippers together three times and say "I want to go home, I want to go home."
Kidding aside, the manual sequence does work, but most of us have had to go through it a few times before we get it done correctly. You're no bigger dumbass than the rest of us. Do it carefully and correctly and it will work.
Yep....took me about 7 times to get it down. Also I wanna say the manual says if you mess up you have to wait 2 minutes to retry.....or that could be inputting the code to start w/o a fob. Just keep trying it and have the fob in your pocket...... you should get it. Like I said earlier, you have to do the sequence kinda quick.
