Broken battery lift strap

Broken battery lift strap
When I took out my battery for winter storage, the nylon lift strap broke. I took some other stuff apart and was able to get the battery out. What have people done to replace that stupid strap? I did a search and found nothing. Thanks

I got old battery terminal camps, rigged up a rope to it, non conductive and pulled it out, replaced the broken strap with 550 para cord for next time. Para cord can be bought at army surplus store. Good luck.

Plastic strips that are used around shipping boxes, duct tape folded lengthwise, nylon webbing, cut down the length of a tie down strap, old shoelaces.
Should be easy to find something laying around.
