I have a '07 FLHX that has a detachable sissybar on it. I just picked up a Classic tour pack painted to match with a quick detach mount on it. The guy I bought it from had it on an '06 FLHX. My problem/question is the 2 slots on the sissybar measure 5 1/2 inches in a straight line from radius to radius of the slots; and the quick mount on the tour pack measures 4 1/2 inches in a straight line from radius to radius of the slots. Both the sissybar and quick mount measure 11 1/2 inches across the mounting points. The quick mount looks IDENTICAL to the ones on Ebay that say it fits up to '07. Do I need to buy another docking kit from Harley or is there an adjustment I need to make on mine. If you need more information I will do all I can to help you guys help me.
The tourpak dosen't mount to the same mounting points that the sissy bar does. You need to buy the other half of the 4 point docking hardware. Its the part that has the little hoop bars that stick back past the rear fender. You can mount it to the same mounts as the sissy bar but you have to do it as a solo mount, it puts the tour pak where the rear seat should be(think thats how the solo mount works) Hard to explain without pics, but hope this helps. And 07 and 06 should all be the same.
By the way the mounting hardware you need is one thing you'll buy thats rather inexpensive.

I'd like to use the quick detach as a two-up though, I forgot to mention that. If I'm reading the reply that JRandall left, I can only use the mount that I have as a solo? Here's a link to the mount that came with the tour pack: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-H-D-T...2eae15&vxp=mtr
08 and back use a different set of mounts for the tour pac in the 2-up position. Includes a pair of hoops that stick up thru the rear fender. Also uses a different bracket to mount it in a solo position and you need to run a solo seat as well. I didn't want that on my bike so I made my own mount to work off the passenger backrest mount. I did a write-up here if you're interested http://baggertech.com/forum/showthre...or-08-and-back

The mount on the tourpak isn't what you need, it's the parts that bolt onto the motorcycle. There is another half of the docking hardware that I don't think you have. Some one else has listed the part # for you. It's just the other half of the "4 point docking hardware" that you don't have. Makes you have 4 docking points on each side instead of 2.
