Anyone no why we can't change the bulb in the SG tach and Speedo? I want the gauges to be red.....

From what I understand the speedo and Tach are sealed units and the lights are actually a small LED array. I would like blue myself

There is an aftermarket company that will take your unit and change the lights for you. Costs about $300 I think. I saw the link on the forum and checked their site. From what I saw on the web it looked good but I do not know anyone who has dealt with them. Just looked for the site but came up with bupkiss. I know it's out there.

The units are sealed to avoid tampering with the odo readings.

And you can now order different color lighted gauges from the Harley big book.

Here is what I found after using the Search feature of the forum.

http://www.bluegauges.com/motorcycle/harley.htm

And the thread associated with it.

I was a bit high on the price. But it looks like $150 per 3.5 inch gauge.
