Talking Gauges Lighting

Anyone ever changed out the bulbs in the gauges to a different color? I was wondering if it was possible and where to get the bulbs if it was? Any thoughts?

Yes, changed them out on my 08 ultra. Got them from advanced auto, seen them in Auto Zone also. Just take one with yea to use as a comparison. The ones I got were the LED in red, they had blue and yellow, they are pretty bright at night, couldn't change the one in the tach and speedo.

The LEDS that light the speedo and tach are burned into the printed circuit board. It takes special equipment to remove and install different color LEDs

So in other words you have to solder the new bulb to the circuit board without shorting out the whole circuit board?
