Anyone get any crap when getting a HD dealer dyno BUT they have a "non harley" tuner?
Need a dyno but have a FM tuner...Dealers say they dont like non harley tuners, which i can understand. Im not wanting mine to "burn out the ECM" or some other "misfortune" fall upon it while on the dyno and the cause is the "non harley" tuner, (which would be BS, of course), along with void of the reamaining warrantee.
So, anyone get any guff???

That's because they want to sell you a harley product. Also the HD "Race" tuner, is labeled as off road only, and it too "voids" your warranty.

oh i get that, i was just wondering if anyone has gotten any guff from a dealer due to their non harley tuner or it "burned out the ecm" while being tuned or some other lame *** excuse.
any good non dealer tuners in the KCMO area???
There are a lot of HD dealers that are DynoJet tuning centers. Some will only sell the SERT or HD downloads. I've seen good and bad from both. All I can say is its your bike and you have to pick how you want to support it.
Personally, I use DynoJet Power Commanders on all my bikes. Fuel Moto supports them very, very well. I'm really happy with Fuel Moto and all their products and services.
