So far so good for me with the new style 3 bag HD with magnetic closures. But that $39 two bag one another poster mentioned looks interesting. As he said, cheap enough to replace once in a while, but the pockets are actually usuable.
HD's new triple bag with the magnets is nice. Easy to open/close, a good fit, nice size. no issues in the few months I've had mine.
I've had the T-bags. They look and hold their shape the best but as someone else said, they are so stiff, the side bags are almost unusable.
I'm on my 2nd Harley triple bag with the magnets (2nd bike with these bags) and although they don't hold their shape as well as the T-bags, they are the best I've had as far as easy to get things in and out & they still look good.

My HD triple bag is a year old and holding up pretty well. I got a long aux cable and stick my phone in middle bag to listen to tunes. The side bags are kind of smallish, but I use one for the garage door opener and the other holds a mag light. I could cram other stuff in there I guess, but haven't needed to. I definitely like the looks of it, kind of tapered I guess, and not "in your face."
The T-Bags one I use I have paperwork in one, Iphone in the middle and garage door opener in the other...Don't really need a whole bunch of space. Never had a problem with it as far as cold or hot. These might be issues by other people, but it was like 50 bucks shipped to the house from amazon and fits the contour of the inner fairing. Replacement every few years with another one aint gonna hurt on a 20K dollar bike. Call it bi-annual maintenance.
I have the HD 3 pouch version. It has been on the bike for 5+ years and still looks and works well. I hope it never needs replacing because the new HD one is no longer leather but, "wrapped in supple UV-resistant vinyl".

So....this works for me....on my T-Bag windshield bag set up, I use Sun Screen, yep Sun Screen. Just rub it in as you would on your skin. I've had my bags for 3 years now with no cracking or sagging....livin in Tucson!
