Well I finally got my stubbies so I tried twisting those antenna's off and they would not budge. So I got the channel locks out and put a death grip on them and it moved. A lot of white stuff fell out so I guess they had oxidized in place. Wonder if that's why I had crappy reception too. But they're off and the new ones on. Now I have to hit the road this weekend before our winter it's Monday. By the way I did have to put some moxy on them to break them loose. Thanks for all the "just twist' help.

Good for you and don't feel bad, mine were on so tight, I thought I was going to break the TP. I put the hidden wire behind the fairing, I only use the cb when I have the TP on. It is usually off.

Why do you put toilet paper on your bike?

Sorry - it was hanging out there and I had to take it.
