I installed 30t trans pulley and modified my swingarm so I could use stock belt yesterday. Took it out for a ride today and this is the way these bikes should be geared. Only regret is I should have done this in 09. Also took the new trailer I built out for it's test run. I have 15# tongue weight and it pulled perfect, no sway or bouncing. I guess I calculated the right measurements. Getting ready for the BIG ride out west in June! Allyn
Kickstand exstention about $30 at HD.
I did the install but had to have the hole cut at a machine shop as my drill wouldn't cut it.
The machine shop said "no charge" as it was one hole and they were interested in what i was doing .
If you got short legs its a bitch getting the kickstand up and down .. this really helps.
1. Kuryakyn Iso grips.
2. HD mirror stem extenders. Hated it when my fingers would hit the mirrors all the time.
3. Gutting my cat. Free!
4. Oh yeah, and taking those stupid reflectors off my forks and saddlebag guards. That was free too!
