Got the speedo & the spring fixed only to have snowy weather & 0-20* weather with cance of snow. Now I got sick, flu or cold, no big problem just won't ride til better. So I didn't make the 100k by Christmas or New Years, but it should be soon. Not sure if I have to many stories, or at least that I remember (getting old & my memory is going). Congrats to all that have a lot of miles under your seat, it's great. Happy New Year
Just my luck, I get the 100K & my belt breaks at 2.6 miles.
Toby
Congrats on the milestone
sucks about the belt
I remember when I hit the 100,000 on my 03 Road King. It was a great moment. It took me 6 years due to full time work and Minnesota winters. Traded the bike after 8 years and 155,000 miles for my current ride.
Wow thats pretty good. I got a buddy I grew up with, his dad is in his late 70's and is still riding the second bike he's ever owned an old 75 AMF sporty, not sure how many times he's been through it though....
I just turned 70,000 on my 08 and as a reward, or maybe because I can't leave well enough alone, I pulled the top off and put in a HD 103 kit. Looking at the old 96" cylinders though I can still see the cross hatch in them so they would have been good for a lot more miles yet. I did have some oil usage and not sure why looking at my take offs.
