We have had 3 of them, the first two sold within days, the third hasn't sold yet just because it doesn't have cruise. We got it in dealer trade. I don't know why they would order it without cruise, but they did.
ITs funny that the amount of stripped down bikes are still being ordered.Omaha harley dealers order no cruise or abs on the street glides. At one dealer in Denver they swapped a yellow for 2 blacks. It made one heck of a difference for them to have 2 streetglides in inventory over one yellow immediately. It seems certain areas like certain things
Was in my local dealer today and he has one on the floor. Stopped me right in my tracks. I am not in the market for a new bike and I love my RKC but I'm thinking that it would look pretty damn nice done up to look like an old NYC checker cab. I called the sign company i use and he can duplicate the authentic checker pattern and i would put the old rates on the side panels and the Checker logo on the fairing. Black out the forks and add the 21" fat spoke wheel santa brought me, some saddlebag extensions etc. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger....

isn't that a fairly easy addon for the dealer to do?
Think the Yellow is missing something, accents , but like someone previous posted, it is a basic template to start from. Could go black or chrome, either would work. What surprised me was the alien green from the flake in the sun. I am a fan of the classic 50's & 60's Hotrod Yellow, the basic flat yellow, but must admit the lines of the auto in question back in the day had a lot to do with whether it worked or did not. Yellow Vettes sure, Yellow hotrods sure, even Yellow Camaro works, but some not so much. HD makes some outstanding paint jobs for sure !!... but sometimes they miss the mark with design and color combos IMHO. Like the checker cab idea and hell nothing wrong with a big Bumble Bee roaring down the road !
