How many have you decided to leave your stock black hand controls alone on your dresser? I have a black 2011 FLHX and installed black levers and contrast cut master cylinder cover. But I have a lot of chrome on my bike (chrome front end and other accessories). I keep wrestling with the idea of buying the chrome hand control set from Eastern Performance but dreading installing the master cylinder for fear it won't work like the original black one (I refuse to spend $400 for the Harley one) since I had problems with my 04 when I installed the chrome set.
I just installed the chrome setup this past weekend. Do not fear, it is a fairly easy install regarding the master cylinder. Just take your time. You can either do the old fashion pump/release or use the MityVac which I used. No need for an extra hand. Did it all by my lonesome. I might have to bleed the brakes again as the lever feels a tad bit spongy. but the task is fairly easy and no problems with the install at all. Thanks.

Do you have ABS? I have ABS and was concerned about going to the dealer to have it hooked up.
I kept the black control housings and did the chrome buttons. I like the contrast look.
I did the same thing and like the look also. I also use Turtle Wax Ice on the black housings and they look like a gloss paint job. My friends were totally fooled.
