iPhone hook-up

I see a lot of threads about how to mount a iPhone on a bike, but more importantly to me is how do you hook it up? I don't see a usb port on my radio so what is everyone doing?

I plug mine in from the headphone jack to the aux port on the radio. I don't know any other way.

Is there some special wire that you use? I know nothing about this stuff as you can tell.

Any electronics store will have the cord. It's a male 1/8 inch plug at both ends. Make sure it's stereo though.

Keep in mind that unless you plug the phone in from the charge/download port on the phone to the cigarette lighter port, your phone's battery will drain.
