If you dont cut it open I don't see a way to get all of the cat removed.

Only way to see is to do it yourself. I did it and its 100% clear. I dont know why people question this way of doing it.

This set up will get you by nicely, just remember do not change the aircleaner untill you install the Power Commander V. It's ok to install just the slip ons without the Power Commander.Any other questions call Fuel Motto they will be happy to get you taken care of.
cut it out yourself, that way you can ensure it was done correctly....this is mine:

Because it doesn't get all of the material, had a friend do this, then decide to cut it open. Was still lot's of material inside.

I am running a decatted headpipe, open ac, and slipons with just the (harley installed) stage 1 download and it runs great. I decatted my headpipe with a 1" paddle bit. Took about an hour and its 100% clean. No need to cut the headpipe to get the cat out.
This is simply WRONG! The exhaust on our bikes is THE bottleneck in the airflow. Open them up and you NEED some kind of tune or it will be WAY lean, but... what do I know?

My question always is, here, when folks say a bike runs great... is compared to what, exactly? The same bike, before a mod was done? pfft... nothing to compare there.

Go ride a professionally tuned bike and come back and say that.

I have the basic stag1 download. Which after an exhaust and open ac is installed the download puts it back to factory " lean " condition. Thus the design of the download. Yes it's lean, bad lean " no". No more lean than factory off the show room floor.

If all you do is decat then you don't need a tune. Ran my sg like that for while and it run just fine!
