Default Lifters

Hi guys, just wondering how many of you have changed lifters on the 2012's and if you plan on it if you do cams or more? I've just heard talk of the '12's being made in Mexico and if I should change them when I swap cams. Thanks all.

The newer "C" revision is made in Mexico and is not as good as its predecessor "B" revision. I wouldn't change them out just to change them out, but if you are doing cams and are in there anyway and have the money to do so, then go for it. Gaterman 1023's or Woods would be a good choice, IMO.

Do cams and lifters, cams really help wake up the engine.

I've done a lot of searching for pricing on both Wood and Gaterman... don't get a lot of hits. Who sells them and who has best price? I've emailed Fuel Moto for quote on Woods but they have not replied; will prob have to call them.

Don't overlook s&s. They are pricey, but I've NEVER heard a bad review of them.
