Sounds interesting. If I were purchasing a new scoot from themI would consider it, considering that most dealers charge between $300 & $400 just forthe 1000 mile service. At this price it wouldn't take long to use up that $1999 lifetime charge.
What is the service depts reputation? So if you get pissed 1st or second service as so many do your out the remainder of your 2k. A lot of folks end up driving to a dealer farther away to get the service they feelthey deserve. It would be a bummer to have a crapy dept and feel your stuck. I like most guys here have usedsome dealer only to come away feeling like they did a half a$$ job and never carried my scoot back ie..left itdirty, rubber shoe marks burnt on my pipes, done in 1/2 the time knowing they could not have performed all the adjustmentscorrectly. Risky to me for a long term.
If it was a service dept that was known for quaility work it sounds like a good deal. Many folks just are not ment to work on a bike. I ride with many who should never even try an oil change. But for myself I prefer to do it myself so I can see that things are done and not just checked off the list.
